On National Cancer Survivors Day® thousands of people in hundreds of communities across the globe will hold celebrations to honor cancer survivors and show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be fruitful, rewarding and even inspiring.

In celebration, the Peitz Cancer Support House of Baxter Regional Medical Center is hosting Together We’re Reel Survivors on Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Big Spring Park in Cotter. Activities will include a Survivor Walk across Cotter Bridge, fly fishing and kayak lessons and demonstrations, nature walk, activities for kids and more!

This event is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families, and an outreach to the community. It is a day for everyone, whether you’re a cancer survivor, family member, friend, or medical professional. Men, women, and children of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Together We're Reel Survivors is free to the public, but registration is required to participate. Click here for an event schedule and to download the registration form, or stop by the PCSH, located on the BRMC campus across Hospital Drive from the Cline Emergency Center entrance, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (870) 508-CARE (2273) or email pcsh@baxterregional.org.
