Important Medicare Advantage network changes for 2027
Baxter Health is in-network with the following plans:
- Medicare A and B
- BlueMedicare Premier HMO
- BlueMedicare Independence HMO
- BlueMedicare Value PFFS
- BlueMedicare Preferred PFFS
- Devoted Health
- Humana Medicare*
*Currently out-of-network at Baxter Health Fulton County Hospital
- Tribute Advantage Select
- Wellcare by Allwell (not traditional Wellcare)
Baxter Health cares about your financial health and hopes to continue serving all of your healthcare needs. For 2027, some insurance companies are making changes to their networks and may no longer offer coverage in our service area. The plans listed above are those with which Baxter Health is contracted, as well as plans that allow members to receive care at Baxter Health without being subject to out-of-network penalties.
If your current plan is not listed above, we encourage you to carefully review your options. You may consider traditional Medicare Parts A and B, if you are eligible, or selecting a Baxter Health in-network Medicare plan.
If you are considering a plan that is not in-network with Baxter Health, including an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) plan that is not listed above, please review the plan’s out-of-network benefits carefully before enrolling. Depending on the plan, you may:
- Pay significantly higher out-of-pocket costs for care at Baxter Health.
- Have certain services subject to additional requirements, such as referrals or prior authorization.
- Have limited or no coverage for non-emergency care received from an out-of-network provider.
Before selecting a plan, we encourage you to confirm directly with a local insurance agent or insurance company that Baxter Health and the providers you use are in-network for the specific plan you are considering.
