2017 Women's Health Forum is May 11

The Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education of Baxter Regional Medical Center will host the 2017 Women's Health Forum on Thursday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. The program will begin at 10 a.m., but doors open at 9 a.m. for ladies to check in, enjoy visiting numerous vendor booths and fellowship over a cup of coffee.

This year's special event guest speakers include:

  • Andrea Bounds, MD, Regional Family Medicine
    Online health information: Can you trust it?
  • Jamie Parrot, APRN, BRMC Hospitalist Group
    Modern healthcare: Who is this Hospitalist?
  • Keynote speaker: Kelley Nosari
    A certified personal trainer and local fitness guru, Kelley will be sharing secrets to staying healthy and the important role fitness plays in achieving wellness goals and enhancing quality of life.

The always popular Q and A featuring local healthcare professionals will include:

  • Shelley Warr, MD, Lincoln Paden Clinic: Internal Medicine
  • Julee Hodges, AuD, Mountain Home ENT and Allergy: Audiology
  • Amanda Thornton, APRN, The Center for Women: Gynecology
  • Krista Bell, PharmD, BRMC Pharmacy
  • Katie Hutchens, APRN, Baxter Regional Urology Clinic
  • Melissa Quevillon, MD, Cline Emergency Center

The event is free of charge to ladies in our community, but due to limited seating, advance registration is required. Lunch will be provided.
