Elizabeth Bockstahler, a mastectomy fitter at Snell Prosthetic and Orthotic Laboratory, will be a featured guest speaker this month at several of the Peitz Cancer Support House Breast Cancer Support Group meetings. She will speak to the Breast Cancer Support Group on Tuesday, September 13 at noon and again at the Breast Cancer Evening Support Group meeting on Thursday, September 22 at 6 p.m. Elizabeth will discuss basic information on fittings, insurance guidelines and have various mastectomy items available as examples.

PCSH Breast Cancer Support Groups offer women with breast cancer a chance to share their experience with others who may be going through similar experiences. The sessions are for all women with breast cancer, whether they are newly diagnosed or a long-term survivor. The groups cover various topics of interest including different types of breast cancer, treatments, reconstruction and living beyond cancer.

All sessions are held at the Peitz Cancer Support House, located on the BRMC campus across Hospital Drive from the Cline Emergency Center entrance. The Breast Cancer Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at noon, and the Breast Cancer Evening Support Group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.
