First Meeting of Menopause Support Group Rescheduled

The first meeting of the Menopause Support Group originally scheduled for today, Thursday, January 21, at 5:15 p.m. has been canceled due to road conditions.

Menopause is a natural life transition that every woman experiences, and it is a journey that need not be ventured alone. The Schliemann Center for Womenand#39;s Health Education is excited to offer a new monthly support club for women at all stages of menopause. Members of the club will learn valuable health information and make new and supportive friendships as they embrace and take charge of the change!

The Menopause Support Club meets the third Thursday of the month at the Schliemann Center and is free of charge to join. The first meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 18 at 5:15 p.m., with nurse practitioner Teresa Mealy discussing Menopause and Weight Loss.
