7th Annual Women's Health Forum is August 27

The Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education of Baxter Regional Medical Center will present the seventh annual Women's Health Forum: A Toast to Women on Thursday, August 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Baxter County Fairgrounds in Mountain Home.

Keynote speakers are Barbara Graham and Betsy Broyles Arnold. Barbara Graham, local business woman and owner of Kent Chevrolet Cadillac and a supporter of women's health, will share lessons learned as a caregiver to her late husband who suffered from Parkinson's. Betsy Broyles Arnold, daughter of former Arkansas Razorback football coach and Athletic Director Frank Broyles, will share her experiences caring for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer's.

In addition to the keynote speakers, the event will include the popular QandA Session with a panel of local healthcare providers including Dr. Rebecca Martin, pulmonology; Dr. Jennifer Foster, general surgery; Dr. Andrea Bounds, family medicine; Teresa Mealy, APRN; Dr. Stacy Helmert, audiology and Dr. Allison Booth, ophthalmology. Lunch and goodies from local healthcare vendors will also be provided.
