Foundation Celebrates Donors at Annual Banquet

Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation hosted their 26th Annual Donor Banquet Thursday, April 9 at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center located on the ASU-MH Campus.

Donors were celebrated from the beginning of the evening to the end. Twin Lakes Community Bank employees provided free valet parking to assist attendees, and a cocktail reception began at 5:30 p.m. in The Sheid lobby.

The dinner and ceremony began with an invocation by Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Board Member Chris Carter. Randall Drake, Chairman of the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, welcomed guests and introduced Rosalyn Blagg, Chairman of the Baxter Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, who shared appreciation from the Hospital Board for all that donors do on behalf of the hospital.

Ron Peterson, Baxter Regional Medical Center President and CEO, shared his thoughts on the 2015 philanthropy impact on the Hospital, followed by a short, fun video entitled, and "It’s A Wonderful Hospital.”

Barney Larry, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Director and BRMC VP/Business Development introduced special guests to formally present gifts to the Foundation. Sandy Irby, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Board Member and Sr. Vice President/Trust Department Manager - Integrity First Bank, made a check presentation of $170,000 from the trusts of Walter Koepp and Jeanne Winters. Paul Johnson, Sr. Vice President and Trust Officer – First Security Bank, also presented a $300,000 gift from the trust of Olive Duggan, a longtime friend of BRMC.
