It has been said that a hospital doesn’t have needs, a community does. So to better serve the needs of our communities, Baxter Health has responded to requests for a program of hope and healing for adult behavioral health issues.
Our Adult Behavioral Health Center is a 16 bed, secure unit located on the third floor of Baxter Health. This new unit offers behavioral health care, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for patients age 18 and over. Our interdisciplinary team of experienced nurses, techs, and therapists is led by board certified psychiatrists. They provide comprehensive treatment-oriented activities to help all patients develop healthy coping skills to achieve mental health stability.
