A Nurse, a Neighbor, and a Familiar Face in North Central Arkansas Joins the Baxter Health Family
Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Victoria Hampton, APRN, to Baxter Health College Street Family Clinic. Hampton began seeing patients on June 15, 2026.
Hampton is not new to this community, and she is not new to caring for people in some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. She spent years as a registered nurse working alongside mothers in labor, welcoming newborns into the world, and supporting families in the hours that follow. She has worked emergency rooms and obstetric floors, in small clinics and large hospital systems, across multiple states.
After more than 15 years as a registered nurse, Hampton earned her master's degree in nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her advanced training covered primary care for patients of all ages, chronic disease management, mental health, and pediatrics. Most recently, she served as Interim Director of Nursing at Arkansas State University Mountain Home, helping shape the next generation of nurses right here in the community she calls home.
Hampton is the kind of person who shows up beyond the clinic walls, too. She volunteers at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, is active at St. Peter's the Fisherman Catholic Church, and has given years of her time to support nursing students coming up behind her. That spirit of service is exactly the kind of heart Baxter Health looks for in the people who care for this region.
Victoria and her husband Kasey are the proud parents of five children and share their home with their two beloved dogs. Originally from Washington State, the couple chose to make Mountain Home their home to be closer to family, and they have embraced everything the Ozarks region has to offer. When she is not caring for patients, Victoria enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys singing and is an active member of her church’s choir.
"Victoria has spent her career learning how to take care of people, and she has done it in a lot of different settings and circumstances," Brian Barnett, Vice President of Physician Enterprise and Business Development at Baxter Health, said. "What stands out is not just her clinical experience, it is her commitment to this community. She is already here. She already cares. Our patients are going to feel that."
