Nurses Week Run/Walk is Saturday, May 6

Baxter Regional Medical Center is hosting a Nurses Week Color Run/Walk on Saturday, May 6. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and the race begins at 8:00 a.m. The 5K route begins and ends in the parking lot in front of the Community Health Education and Support Houses, across Hospital Drive from the BRMC Main Entrance.

Cost is $25 per registrant, with all proceeds benefiting the Community Health Education and Support Houses: Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, Peitz Cancer Support House, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center and Schliemann Center for Womenandrsquo;s Health Education. In 2016, more than 20,000 people utilized these four community houses, where the majority of the services and programs are offered free of charge. Fundraisers like this event ensure that the many free services of these community houses continue to be a mainstay in our community.
