Shannon Nachtigal Named Chief Nursing Officer

Baxter Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Shannon Nachtigal, BSN, RN, has been named Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer.

Shannon is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Nursing and is currently working to complete her Masterandrsquo;s Degree in Nursing Administration from Chamberlain University. She has been a Registered Nurse for 26 years, with 23 years spent in various roles at BRMC.

Most recently, Shannon served as BRMCandrsquo;s Interim CNO, where she has done a remarkable job helping the BRMC team achieve our purpose of preserving BRMC as a comprehensive, independent, community-driven health system in order to optimize access to quality healthcare for patients in the communities we serve. Shannon will continue to help us achieve this by working to decrease nurse vacancies, focusing on communication with physicians, nurses, and staff, and advocating for our patients every day.
