About Brandi

Brandi Watson brings more than 25 years of experience caring for some of the most critically ill patients. Much of her career has been spent in intensive care settings, where she learned to make fast, high-stakes decisions for patients whose lives depended on getting the right care at the right moment. That kind of experience, which is gained through years at the bedside, is exactly what heart and vascular patients need from a provider.

Most recently, Watson served as a Stroke and Neurology Nurse Practitioner at one of Arkansas’ leading Comprehensive Stroke Centers. There, she cared for hyper-acute stroke and neurology patients, helping lead treatment decisions aimed at restoring blood flow to the brain while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams of specialists. That work required a deep understanding of the cardiovascular and neurovascular system and an ability to act decisively when minutes matter. Those same skills and clinical instincts translate directly to the heart and vascular patients served by Baxter Health.

Earlier in her career, Watson worked as a hospitalist nurse practitioner, caring for adults with serious and complex illnesses across a range of medical settings. Before earning her advanced practice degree, she spent years as a registered nurse in intensive care and cardiovascular units.

Watson earned her Master of Nursing Science degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Neurovascular Practitioner. She is a member of the American Heart Association and has taken part in clinical research focused on improving stroke care and patient outcomes.
