Baxter Health to Host College/Career Fair in October

September 30, 2022 – Baxter Health will be hosting a College/Career Fair at the main hospital campus in Mountain Home on Friday, October 21 in the Cafeteria’s Lagerborg Dining Room from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that will be open to the public, as well as attending colleges.

Multiple colleges in and around the Baxter Health service area will be attending the College/Career Fair to explore opportunities with our Human Resources team. Baxter Health’s Nursing, Home Health, Hospice, Radiology, Respiratory, and Volunteer departments will all be on-site to discuss current and future employment opportunities for their respective fields of study and discuss with students what those opportunities can present in terms of a path of growth going forward within the organization.

Colleges that will be attending the Career Fair include Arkansas State University, North Arkansas College, South Central Career Center, Ozarka College, Chamberlain and Walden University, Ozarks Technical Community College, and Arkansas State University - Mountain Home.

The Baxter Health Human Resources team has identified areas within the hospital and 40+ off-site locations with positions needing to be filled and worked closely with the attending colleges to align students with Baxter Health department heads in their field of study to discuss future employment.

Medical Lab Technician, CNA/LPN/RN/MSN, EMT/Paramedic, Medical Coding, Phlebotomy, Business Administration, Surgical Technician, and Radiology Technologist are degrees and certifications that have all been identified as a need within the Baxter Health system.
