Baxter Health Complex opens in Melbourne

Clinic to Provide Primary Care and Services to Local Residents
Baxter Regional Medical Center is expanding its care and partnerships with local physicians under the name of Baxter Health, this time in Melbourne, Arkansas, where the new Baxter Health Complex was officially opened with a ribbon cutting and flag-raising ceremony on Friday, June 16, 2017.

BRMC staff members gathered with Gray Family Practice Clinic staff and others from the Melbourne community to watch Ina Ramsey, with the help of Clark Fletcher, a member of the BRMC Board of Directors, cut the ribbon in front of the new Baxter Health Complex in Melbourne.

After an inspiring invocation by local pastor Robert Ellis, Barney Larry, BRMC Vice President of Business Development and Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Director, gave thanks to the community for the generosity that made the success of the new facility possible. Ron Peterson, BRMC President and CEO, celebrated the event by presenting an award of $5,000 to Ozarka Collegeandrsquo;s nursing program as a show of commitment to the community. Dr. Adam Gray, owner of Gray Family Practice Clinic, PLLC, located in the new facility, said that he andldquo;couldn’t be more proud” to have the clinic ready to serve Melbourne. First National Banking Company provided a grilled lunch of burgers and hot dogs prior to the flag-raising, which was conducted by retired US Military members Sgt. Bob Johnson, Marion Conway, and former Chief Master-at-Arms Adrianna Gumina, while James Miller sang the national anthem. After an official ribbon cutting in front of the new facility, the clinic staff offered tours and explanations of provided services.

Photos from the event are posted on the BRMC Facebook Page.
