Baxter Health Home Health has been offering quality home health care services to residents of Baxter and Marion counties since 1979. Our nurses, therapists and aides work with your provider to give you the high-quality care you need to recover at home. A registered nurse is available 34 hours a day, 7 days a week. What is Home Healthcare?

Home healthcare is part-time professional healthcare for patients of all ages, under physician direction, provided to the patient in the home setting. Many patients benefit from being in their own homes surrounded by friends and loved ones during their recovery process.

Essential components of home healthcare include teaching the patient self-care, securing necessary equipment and medical supplies, instructing the family in the physical care of the patient and helping family members cope with the challenges that result from the patient’s illness.
