Baxter Health Foundation Welcomes Gianna Sherry as Gift Officer
Baxter Health Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Gianna Sherry as a new Gift Officer, bringing a strong background in education, leadership, and relationship-building to the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Sherry joins Baxter Health Foundation after a successful 20-year career in education, where she spent years cultivating meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues while leading initiatives and transforming big-picture goals into measurable impact. She now brings those same skills to philanthropy, supporting the Foundation’s mission to advance healthcare for the Mountain Home community and surrounding region.
“I’m a former educator who decided to trade lesson plans for donor plans, and I couldn’t be more excited about it,” said Sherry. “After years of listening, leading, and collaborating in education, I realized those strengths translate perfectly to fundraising. As a Gift Officer, I bring a teacher’s heart, a leader’s mindset, and a collaborator’s spirit, connecting people to purpose and helping supporters see the power of their generosity.”
Sherry holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership, a Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. A longtime resident of Mountain Home, Sherry has proudly called the community home for the past 20 years. She is passionate about exercise, nutrition, and cultivating a positive mindset, and she is an avid animal lover. She has been happily married for 21 years and is the proud parent of three very active children, often cheering them on from the sidelines at their games and activities.
Baxter Health Foundation looks forward to the impact Sherry will make as she works closely with donors and community partners to support compassionate, high-quality healthcare for the region.
