Baxter Health Welcomes Sheri Davis, APRN, to Baxter Health Family Clinic at Mountain View

Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Sheri Davis, APRN, to Baxter Health Family Clinic at Mountain View, where she joins the practice of Beverly Clark, APRN, and Brooke Whitt, APRN.

Sheri brings nearly two decades of healthcare experience to her new role. She has served as a registered nurse since 2007 and has practiced as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) since 2016.

Sheri graduated as valedictorian of her high school class and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science with honors from Arkansas Tech University. She began her career in the Emergency Department, where she spent eight years on the front lines of patient care, developing strong clinical judgment, calm leadership under pressure, and a heart for serving the families of rural communities during some of their most vulnerable moments. Driven to expand this impact, Sheri earned her Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) degree with highest honors as Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner with a decade of experience, Sheri has focused her career on rural healthcare, partnering with communities across Arkansas to expand access to quality medical care. As a family nurse practitioner, Sheri provides comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan. Her services include preventive care such as wellness exams, sports physicals, and women’s health services, including pap smears and hormone replacement therapy. She is also DOT-certified and offers Department of Transportation physicals. In addition, Sheri treats acute illnesses and injuries and manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and congestive heart failure.

Sheri is honored to serve the community she proudly calls home. She moved to Mountain View in 2007 after marrying her husband, a Mountain View native and alumnus. Together, they are raising three children who are actively involved in local school sports and activities.

Outside of caring for her patients, Sheri enjoys spending time with her family, staying active in her church, and working on their cattle farm. She also loves outdoor activities such as skiing, camping, boating, and hiking.
