Baxter Health Welcomes Chesney Skaggs, MD, to the First In-Service Hospitalists

Baxter Health is proud to welcome Chesney Skaggs, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Skaggs is a skilled internist joining the First In Service Hospitalists practice group serving at Baxter Health.

Dr. Skaggs, an Arkansas native, recently completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Northwest in Fayetteville, AR, where she trained extensively in acute and chronic care management in inpatient settings. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from UAMS in Little Rock in 2022, following her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville.

Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Skaggs enjoys kayaking, hiking, and spending time with her family and dogs.
