About Nestor

Dr. Arita is a board-certified vascular surgeon who specializes in Vascular Surgery and previously practiced in Jackson, Tennessee for 3 years before making the decision to move to Mountain Home. He completed a Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, gaining expertise in various vascular conditions such as aortic aneurysms, carotid stenosis, peripheral arterial disease, and more. Dr. Arita specializes in both open and endovascular treatment methods.

Born in Honduras and raised in Miami, Dr. Arita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami, and a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery internship and residency at Baylor’s Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery. In addition to practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their two children.
