Mark Hammonds, M.D., chose to relocate his family to the Mountain Home area after 6 years of practice in a multi-specialty group near Austin, TX. "I have a passion for skin disease and skin cancer and gain a great deal of satisfaction from the relationships I develop over time with my patients. I was exposed to the Twin Lakes region when camping at Bull Shoals State Park in 2013. My family and I really fell in love with the area while kayaking down the White River and observing its natural beauty. We were also impressed by the genuine hospitality of the local residents. I was raised on a dairy farm in rural Texas and I feel at home in this region. My wife and I have a love for the outdoors and hope to foster it in our children by raising them in the Mountain Home community."
