Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), a life-threatening condition, affects millions of Americans by narrowing arteries and reducing blood flow to the limbs, according to American Heart Association (AHA) estimates. And according to the American Diabetes Association, an estimated 1 out of every 3 people with diabetes over the age of 50 have this condition.

For more information about PAD symptoms, screenings and minimally-invasive treatment options, join the Reppell Diabetes Learning Center of BRMC for a Love Your Limbs: Peripheral Arterial Disease Awareness Event featuring interventional cardiologist Dr. Patrick Tobbia on Monday, January 29 at noon.

The Love Your Limbs Campaign is an initiative to raise public awareness of PAD and physician awareness of treatment options. While the potential life-altering consequences of PAD are real, widespread awareness of the disease is not. For more information, visit www.loveyourlimbs.com.
