The Mruk Family Education Center on Aging has indefinitely postponed their Rock the Barn Fundraiser due to the continued surge of COVID-19.
Baxter Regional Medical Center is continuing to take precautions during this latest surge of COVID-19. To avoid large gatherings and prevent unnecessary spread, Rock the Barn, previously scheduled for Saturday, September 18, has been postponed.
Rock the Barn, a yearly fundraiser event of the Mruk Family Education Center on Aging (MFECOA), is an evening event including live music, a silent auction, cake walk, program exhibits, a 50/50 drawing and plenty of food and drinks. The decision to postpone the event was made by MFECOA after the Delta variant of COVID-19 began to impact Baxter Regional and the surrounding area.
At this time, no date has been selected to reschedule this event, but the community can still support the Mruk Family Education Center on Agingm Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation and other Community Health Education and Support Houses.
